Which training courses would you like to have
access to as a teacher? Why? Which is, in your opinion, the best way to share
good practice amongst teaching professionals? Why?
We live in a world which is changing continuously. Nowadays the
workplace is demanding new competences or skills to our students. We are
teaching and preparing our students for future career's that don't exist yet.
They also have several jobs throughout his life.
For all these reasons, we as teachers have to be up to date and know
everything about these changes. Its explains that I would like to have access to
courses in which I learn different methodologies for teaching like
project-based learning, interactive groups, problem-based learning, etc.
Also I would like to know and use the new educational model known as
"Flipped Classroom" in which students learn most of the contents
outside the classroom. Classroom learning is dynamic and interactive and the
teacher guides learning.
Our goal is that students can develop higher cognitive processes that
foster meaningful learning.
I would like to have access to courses that teach me how to design my
teaching program taking a new approach "universal learning design".
It consists to present the content in different ways (auditory, visual, motor),
offer different materials , motivate towards a goal, know their interests,
promote self-assessment and peer-assessment, etc.
It allows me to attend children with special needs and rare diseases in classroom.
This is necessary for all who want an inclusive school.
On the other hand, I would like to have access to courses of new technologies
applied to education, internet and its correct use (protect de privacy,
identity).
Finally, I need to continue studying English. Learning English allows me
to get an exchange program and offer me
the possibility to know other educational
system. It's the best way to share good practice amongst teaching
professionals.
